Karpal Singh, the national chairman of DAP said that Sikhs in Selangor are not affected by the decree on the use of the Allah word by the Selangor Sultan because the word is in the holy scriptures.
The prominent lawyer said that as the word is included in the holy book, there should be no prohibition because it appeared 37 times. He said this in light of the decree made by the Sultan that non-Muslims in Selangor are not allowed to use the Allah word.
