Datuk Azharuddin Abd RAhman, the DCA (Department of Civil Aviation) chief is under the spotlight in the current missing MH370 Malaysia Airlines aircraft. His credentials are being questioned and no one knows why he is chosen to lead an important department such as the DCA.
He is the director of search and rescue and should be aware that whatever he says in public will affect the country’s image as the world’s media is looking at us. By having Azahruddin as the chief, it shows as if we do not have anyone more capable to handle the crisis other than him.
Azharuddin’s command of English is poor and whenever he speaks, it sounded more confusing than ever because he looks nervous and unsure. He made statements about the 2 stolen passport passengers and that there were 5 passengers who checked in but did not board the flight.
He then proceeded to say that 1 of the 2 who used stolen passports looked like Mario Balotelli, the AC Milan football player. Anyone who have seen the photos would have felt otherwise.
He then proceeded to tell the people not to believe everything they read on the internet but he seems to be the one responsible in spreading false news.
While the world is looking, maybe it is time to cut the losses and take some damage control and remove Azharuddin before he creates more problems.
