The word on the ground is that the government is increasing prices of everything. Tolls, electricity, sugar, petrol and even taxes are all burdening the people.
It is a common issue made by the opposition but there are more truth to it than anyone can imagine because the people are REALLY feeling the pinch.
Although not everyone pay taxes, it makes up a big portion of the revenue for the government. So at least we can expect improvements.
The government websites are in tatters.
It is Visit Malaysia Year 2014 and foreigners are all checking our websites for information about travelling here like visa application, accommodation, taxation and other issues.
The first impression anyone will get when visiting government websites is that the information is OUTDATED.
It seems that the websites are ‘dead’ with no interaction and engagement with the people. There are no real users and emails are not replied. Even if they are replied, it would usually take more than a month which by then would be outdated for sure.
There is ZERO professionalism in our websites and no one is doing anything to improve them. Perhaps the company who got the contract has already concluded the deal and is no longer existence.
Maybe they should appoint another company and give out another contract. Maybe that will make our websites more professional.
